MARCH 3, 2023 - As we reported last month, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds - Season One is set to be released on DVD and standard Blu-ray, as well as in a 4k edition this month. The series is a popular one among fans, walking the line between a modern sensibility and a classic feel. And to celebrate the show’s release on home media, CBS and Paramount Home Media have teamed up to create a very special event.

On Friday, March 24 at 7:00 pm PT (10:00 pm EST) you can attend a Star Trek trivia night, hosted by science advisor Dr. Erin MacDonald. But trivia’s not all you can expect. There will be special guests, giveaways, a special Trek-themed menu (bring on the gagh!), a Q&A with MacDonald herself, and a special sneak peek at some behind-the-scenes footage.

Trek fans who live in Los Angeles can attend the trivia night in person at the Scum and Villainy Cantina (inspired by that other Star franchise), but if you can’t get there, you can still participate in the trivia contest online, as long as you live in the US or Canada. In order to gain access, though, you need to follow @CBSHE on Twitter and keep your eyes open for the QR code that will grant you access.

So over the next few weeks, brush up your Star Trek and put your thinking cap on and maybe you can win big! And if you want to preorder the physical media, click the Amazon link above.
