FEBRUARY 11, 2021 - Back in November, we told you about several Star Trek: Discovery cast members getting together for a little Dungeons & Dragons. Now, not only have they been keeping up with their regular sessions, but party member Anthony Rapp has been tweeting out summary threads of their adventures!

The #DiscoDoesDnD party is made up of Rapp, Blu del Barrio, Mary Wiseman, Emily Coutts, Ian Alexander, and their DM, Noah Averbach-Katz. Rapp’s fiancé Ken Ithiphol has also joined the party as of early January, bringing the group to a total of seven members. Among their ranks are Rapp’s half-elf druid, Grafinas; del Barrio’s 13-year-old tiefling wizard, Bink; Wiseman’s goliath ranger, Mischa; Coutts’ wood elf cleric, Airlia; Alexander’s non-binary elven bard, Vyvee; and Ithiphol’s tortle monk, Bangle.

So far, Rapp has posted tales from 11 of their sessions, the most recent one just this past weekend. Their merry band has seen its share of drama, action, near-tragedy, humor and just plain weirdness. In late November, Bink swallowed part of a defeated goblin’s soul. In December, Vyvee got tipsy on cranberry wine. In January, Airlia adopted a baby lizardfolk and named it “Sticker”. At one point, Vyvee disappeared and was replaced by a flower, Airlia communed with the goddess Eldath, and after many trials, the party eventually won themselves a revivify stone. And their adventures are just beginning.

To follow along with the party’s progress, you should follow the hashtag #DiscoDoesDnD on Twitter. And, of course, be sure to catch up on all of their 32nd century shenanigans in Star Trek: Discovery season three, now on CBS All Access.
