SEPTEMBER 2, 2021 - If you ever cosplay as a Vulcan or Klingon, a full size lirpa or bat’leth might be the order of the day to round out your look. But if full size replicas aren’t your thing or are too expensive, you have options.

TrekCore reported back on August 19th on a new series of scaled down versions of Star Trek prop replicas from Factory Entertainment, beginning with the aforementioned alien weaponry. The lirpa, wielded by Spock in his fight with Captain Kirk in the Star Trek: The Original Series season two episode, “Amok Time” is 8” long, all metal, and comes with a display stand.

The bat’leth, seen in a plethora of episodes across the franchise but seen first in the Star Trek: The Next Generation season four episode, “Reunion,” is about 7” long and is also all metal and includes a display stand.

Both replicas are scheduled to be released in the Spring of 2022, and further scaled prop replicas are expected; you can pre-order both now from Entertainment Earth.
