New Star Trek: Picard promo video shows off Elnor’s skill with the sword
Star Trek: Picard teases Elnor’s swordplay
A new Star Trek: Picard promotional video has given us our best look yet at new character Elnor and his awesome swordplay skills.
On Saturday morning, the official Star Trek Twitter account posted the 15-second video, which showed a composite of stills of Elnor in action, with the words “In 2 months”, followed by the Picard logo and the premiere date of January 23rd. The video was captioned “Let the countdown begin.”

We don’t know much about Elnor, who is played in the new series by newcomer Evan Evagora. All we know so far is that he’s a Romulan refugee, and apparently really good with a sword.
Helpfully, the video also clarifies the international release dates of the series: “Star Trek: Picard premieres January 23 on CBS All Access in the U.S. & in Canada on Bell Media’s CTV Sci-Fi Channel & OTT service Crave, on January 24 on Amazon Prime in over 200+ countries.”
