DECEMBER 24, 2020 - Imagine that you had the chance to watch your favorite episode of Star Trek with one of the stars from the show. That would be pretty cool, right? Well, you’re in luck! For the next six days, you’ve got that chance. Actor and activist George Takei has teamed up with fundraising agency Omaze in a sweepstakes to join the actor in your very own private, virtual Star Trek watch party.

The lucky winner and a friend will join Takei in a private video chat where they will get to watch their favorite episode of The Original Series together. During the episode, Takei will provide commentary and inside stories from the making of Star Trek, along with answering any of the burning questions you might have about the series.

Proceeds from the Omaze sweepstakes will benefit States United to Prevent Gun Violence, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting state-based gun violence prevention groups and reducing the number of gun-related injuries and deaths in the United States.

Entries for the watch party with George Takei will be accepted until 11:59pm PT on December 31st, and the winner will be announced in January. It is important to note that you are not required to make a donation and you can enter the contest by registering your information with Omaze.
