Paramount Releases New Artwork Celebrating the Legacy of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY

The much-anticipated fifth and final season of Star Trek: Discovery is set to make its debut on Thursday, April 4, with a special two-episode premiere exclusively on Paramount+. Following the premiere, fans of the groundbreaking series can look forward to weekly episodes every Thursday, offering a conclusive chapter to the saga that revived the Star Trek franchise for television audiences.

According to a Paramount media release, this final season is poised to be a memorable send-off for Captain Michael Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery. The storyline promises an epic adventure across the galaxy as they unravel a mystery surrounding an ancient power, hidden for centuries. However, their quest is fraught with danger as they face adversaries determined to claim this elusive power for themselves.

To commemorate the concluding season of Star Trek: Discovery, five unique pieces of art have been unveiled, celebrating the series' significant impact over its run. These include the previously released key art and four new pieces that showcase the full cast, a tribute to the series' contribution to the Star Trek legacy.

Star Trek: Discovery has been notable for its diverse and talented ensemble, with the final season featuring Sonequa Martin-Green as Captain Michael Burnham, Doug Jones as Saru, Anthony Rapp as Paul Stamets, Mary Wiseman as Sylvia Tilly, Wilson Cruz as Dr. Hugh Culber, David Ajala as Cleveland “Book” Booker, Blu del Barrio as Adira, and Callum Keith Rennie as Rayner. The season also welcomes recurring guest stars Elias Toufexis and Eve Harlow, adding depth to the series' rich narrative tapestry.
