Heather Antos, IDW Group Editor and panelist at the event delivered the exciting news, revealing that the interactive graphic novel would be crafted by the dynamic duo of writer Ryan North and artist Chris Fenoglio. Fans of Lower Decks will recognize North and Fenoglio from their previous collaboration on a comic book limited series based on the beloved Star Trek show for IDW.

Fast forward to October 13th at the IDW panel for New York Comic Con, where Heather Antos once again took the stage to host the proceedings. This time, she engaged in a discussion with writers Collin Kelly and Christopher Cantwell, colorist Marissa Louise, and artists Joe Eisma and Rachael Stott. The anticipation for Star Trek: Lower Decks - Warp Your Own Way was palpable, with fans eagerly looking forward to what IDW has in store in the coming months.

The buzz around the project peaked during the fan panel, indicating that Warp Your Own Way might be possibly the most Trek project that IDW has planned over the next few months. Although NYCC 2023 served as the initial unveiling of the graphic novel, Antos teased that more information would be revealed between now and its release in Fall 2024.

In this thrilling graphic novel, readers (or players) will step into the boots of Lt. Becket Mariner. Across 182 pages, participants will navigate through a myriad of choices, channeling Mariner's mindset to confront challenges ranging from tribbles to the Borg and even Khan Noonien Singh.

What sets this adventure apart is its game-like structure, promising a genuine interactive experience.
