NOVEMBER 8, 2022 - The second half of season one of Star Trek: Prodigy is well underway.  This week sees episode 13 hit our screens and streaming devices with the newest episode, “All The World’s a Stage”.

This episode is directed by Andrew Schmidt and was written by Aaron J. Waltke who wrote another fan-favorite, “Kobayashi”. The blurb for it is simple. “The crew answers a distress call to find a colony trapped in Starfleet’s past.”

By the look at the photos below, this seems to be another TOS-reminiscent episode to stoke those nostalgic fires.

We begin by seeing a familiar face (or, at least hearing a familiar voice.) Jason Alexander as Doctor Noum and Daveed Diggs as Commander Tysess. This is not the first time that Jason Alexander and Kate Mulgrew have worked together.  We last saw Jason Alexander, who played Kurros in the Star Trek: Voyager episode Think Tank.

In this week’s episode, we also see the crew of the Starship Prodigy really coming together and trying hard to be “Starfleet” and more nurturing from Janeway (I just love and am so grateful that they are covering this part of her in this series); seeking out new life (even if it’s not exactly ‘new life’); and finally, interacting with the planet’s inhabitants.

Star Trek Prodigy airs every Thursday with new episodes on Paramount+.

He has a series of young reader novels, a satirical self-help book, (which, according to reviews, actually has some pretty solid counsel), and has joined the list of professional Sherlock Holmes authors.

He promises that his works will never contain profanity, gratuitous violence, or anything else that would prevent the entire family from enjoying them together.

He spends his days working in healthcare administration and in his evenings, in between plans for becoming “Lord Emperor of everything,” he types away at his keyboard letting his imagination out for the world to read.

He is fortunate to have a wonderful wife and two beautiful daughters. He currently lives in Goodyear Arizona with his wife.
