Destination Star Trek has confirmed that Sir Patrick Stewart will be attending their event in Birmingham, England later this month.

In a tweet on Friday, they said, “.@SirPatStew will be at #DST on Sat 26 Oct! He will be taking part in a special presentation on Star Trek: Picard on Sat morning.”

Stewart is just one of a huge selection of Star Trek stars to be confirmed at DST this year, although his appearance will be one of the most highly anticipated. Among other confirmed guests are Brent Spiner, also from Star Trek: Picard, Anson Mount and Ethan Peck, LeVar Burton and Denise Crosby, and George Takei. Notably absent from the current guest list are most of the cast of Star Trek: Discovery, and Jonathan Frakes and Marina Sirtis from Star Trek: Picard. According to Destination Star Trek, however, they will be announcing more guests in the next couple of days.

Destination Star Trek is Europe’s Official Star Trek convention. According to their website, “[DST] will offer fans the opportunity to meet the cast and crew, explore interactive exhibits, learn about Star Trek’s impact on science, space and technology, and enjoy parties fit for brand new worlds.” DST returns to Birmingham’s NEC from October 25th through 27th, and tickets are still available.
