FanExpo Cleveland: Friday, April 29 – Sunday, May 1

William Shatner (Saturday and Sunday), John de Lancie (Saturday and Sunday), and Ron Perlman (Saturday) will be appearing at FanExpo Cleveland. The event is taking place Friday through Sunday at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, in Cleveland, Ohio. Head over to FanExpoHQ for all the details.

Chiller Theatre Toy, Model, and Film Expo: Friday, April 29 – Sunday, May 1

Peter Weller (Friday and Saturday), Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson will be appearing this weekend at the Chiller Theatre Expo. The convention is taking place at the Hilton Parsippany, in Parsippany, New Jersey. All the skinny is at Chiller Theatre.

iMAGICON: Friday, April 29 – Sunday, May 1

Doug Jones, Janet Kidder, and Hannah Cheesman will be appearing at iMAGICON all weekend. (In case you are wondering, Ronnie Rowe, Jr. is unable to attend.) The con is happening at the Minot Municipal Auditorium, in Minot, North Dakota. Check out iMAGICON for all the info.

The Visionary Universe of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: ongoing through Sunday, May 29

Ongoing through Sunday, May 29, The Paley Center for Media in New York is celebrating the upcoming Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and the broader Star Trek universe. The exhibition will be complemented by special screenings, opportunities to view the uniforms and artifacts from several series, weekly kids and family programs featuring the animated hit Star Trek: Prodigy, and much more. The Regular Stuff

  • These are the Twitter watchalongs:

    • #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.

    • #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

    • #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

  • Then there’s Star Trek: Watch Party, hosted daily and coordinated on Facebook. Every evening, they use the Teleparty browser extension to watch Star Trek together. To find out more, head over to Star Trek: Watch Party on Facebook.

  • Speaking of a Star Trek watch party: the iBlind Users Group hosts Trekkie Talk on the first and third Thursdays of every month. They watch an audio descriptive version of a Star Trek episode and get together virtually to discuss it. To find out how to join in, visit ibugtoday.com/trekkie-talk.

  • But wait, there’s more watch partying: Club IDIC hosts a weekly watch party and discussion at 6pm Alberta Time every Friday. The schedule and Zoom links are available at the Club IDIC Facebook page.

  • To Proudly Go, a New York-based nonprofit, will be hosting Star Trek: Picard season 2 viewing parties each Saturday. The gatherings begin at 6:00pm ET at the Barracuda Lounge in New York City. Tickets are free, and vaccination is required. The viewing parties also include Star Trek trivia games, special Star Trek-themed drag performances, two-for-one drinks, fabulous Star Trek prizes, and merchandise.   • Virtual Trek Con presents The Main Viewer every Tuesday - a live discussion show on YT with occasional special guests and an open chat geared towards fan interaction.

  • Disco Does DnD - livestream DnD game with DSC actors on Twitch, every Sunday at 1pmPT/4pmET. 

  • And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice-monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows.
