Online Star Trek events really seem to be getting into the swing of things, making up for lost convention time this summer. So now is as good a time as any to log on and join in.

Star Trek: The Cruise hosts Connor Trineer for Q&A - Thursday, June 18th

This evening, June 18th, Star Trek: The Cruise are hosting Connor Trinneer for a virtual Q&A session at 8pm ET on their Facebook and YouTube pages. To find out more, check out Star Trek: The Cruise (@startrekcruise) on Twitter.

Star Trek: The Next Generation (cont’d) at GalaxyCon Live - Saturday, June 20th

GalaxyCon Live is continuing their Star Trek: The Next Generation series this Saturday, June 20th, at 2pm ET. This time, tune in to see Brent Spiner, Gates McFadden and LeVar Burton having their turns in the hot seat. Tickets are free, but required, and you can also purchase autographs, shoutouts and one-on-one video chats. For more, please visit galaxycon.com.

Star Trek: Voyager at GalaxyCon Live - Thursday, June 25th

Then, looking ahead a little to next Thursday, June 25th, GalaxyCon Live is also hosting some of the crew of Star Trek: Voyager. Robert Picardo, Tim Russ and Garrett Wang will be on hand to chat, hang out, and answer questions. More information on that one, also at galaxycon.com.

The regular stuff

Finally, some stuff I’ve told you about before that are still going on:

  • These are the Twitter watchalongs:

    • #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.

    • #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of the Original Series every week, and

    • #StarTrekHour is a Q & A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

  • Then there’s Star Trek: Netflix Party, hosted daily and coordinated on Facebook. Every evening, they use the Netflix Party Chrome extension to watch Star Trek together. To find out more, head over to Star Trek: Netflix Party on Facebook.
