Khan!!! The Musical!: Beginning Thursday, May 4

Galactic Diversity & Inclusion Convention: Friday, May 5 – Sunday, May 7

Multiple Trek personalities are among the guests at this convention, founded by Gaaays in Spaaace,  bringing together the worlds of science fiction and the actual space industry as seen from the perspectives of underrepresented communities in both. Saskatoon Entertainment Expo: Friday, May 5 – Sunday, May 7

Jonathan Frakes (Sat and Sun) and Neal McDonough are scheduled to appear at the World Trade Center Saskatoon at Prairieland Park, in Saskatchewan. All the details are at SaskExpo.

To Proudly Go: Star Trek Variety Show – ongoing from Saturday, May 6

Join the To Proudly Go crew at the legendary Barracuda Lounge in New York City starting at 6pm every Saturday for a Star Trek themed variety show. More information and free tickets are at Eventbrite.

The Regular Stuff

·These are the Twitter watchalongs:

o   #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.

o   #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

o   #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

·Then there’s Star Trek: Watch Party, hosted daily and coordinated on Facebook. Every evening, they use the Teleparty browser extension to watch Star Trek together. To find out more, head over to Star Trek: Watch Party on Facebook.

·Speaking of a Star Trek watch party: the iBlind Users Group hosts Trekkie Talk on the first and third Thursdays of every month. They watch an audio descriptive version of a Star Trek episode and get together virtually to discuss it. To find out how to join in, visit ibugtoday.com/trekkie-talk.

·But wait, there’s more watch partying: Club IDIC hosts a weekly watch party and discussion at 6pm Alberta Time every Friday. The schedule and Zoom links are available at the Club IDIC Facebook page.

·Virtual Trek Con presents The Main Viewer every Tuesday - a live discussion show on YT with occasional special guests and an open chat geared towards fan interaction.

·Disco Does DnD - livestream DnD game with DSC actors on Twitch, every Sunday at 1pmPT/4pmET.

· Join Grey Havens Philosophy and Outworld Brewing every first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. as they discuss the big ideas inspired by Star Trek. The gatherings are at Outworld Brewing, in Longmont, Colorado. Attendance is free, but an RSVP for planning purposes is appreciated at Eventbrite.

·And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows. ·Ongoing through May 4, 2023, the Science Museum in London, UK is hosting the immersive exhibition Science Fiction: Voyage to the Edge of Imagination. Visit the Science Museum for more information and to order tickets.

·Ongoing through October, Starship Edsel is a Star Trek inspired farce set aboard the Federation Starship Edsel towards the end of the 24th century. It is based upon a LARP written and developed by Brandon Brylawski, who is also a producer and head writer on this show. Performances take place at the Otherworld Theatre, in Chicago. ·Ongoing through March 2024, the National Museum of African American History and Culture hosts the exhibition, “Afrofuturism: A History of Black Futures,” which includes a uniform worn by Nichelle Nichols.

·Ongoing Saturdays through June 3, join To Boldly Go for a Star Trek variety show and benefit, starting at 6 p.m. ET at the Barracuda Lounge in New York City. Included are drag shows, 2-for-1 drinks, bingo & trivia, and prizes & giveaways. Free tickets are available at Eventbrite.
