APRIL 14, 2023 - The newest addition in Modiphius Entertainment’s Star Trek Adventures roleplaying games is…Star Trek: Lower Decks.

The second animated series of the franchise premiered on Paramount+ in August 2020. The series follows Ensigns Bradward Boimler, Beckett Mariner, and their fellow crewmates aboard the California-class USS Cerritos. Set shortly after the conclusion of Star Trek: Nemesis. The series is best known for bringing a more comedic tone to the franchise without compromising the values that make Star Trek great.

There have been several packs announced by the notable tabletop publisher: a Lower Decks digital crew pack for Season 1 and 2 with Season 3 coming later in 2023, a Lower Decks-themed digital standalone adventure entitled “Lurkers” (written by veteran Star Trek novelist and contributor Christopher L. Bennett), and a free digital missions brief pack.

With this, in summer 2023, a full-size 240-page full-color hardcover supplement called Star Trek: Lower Decks Campaign Guide which will feature eight playable alien species and information that serves to enrich the campaigns and adventures of its player seeking a new facet of the franchise to explore.

The rest of Star Trek AdventuresLower Decks will arrive this summer with more content expected throughout the year. The Season 1 crew pack and “Lurkers” standalone adventure are available for download at Modiphius.net.

Star Trek: Lower Decks will return with a ten-episode fourth season on Paramount+ this summer.
