Some old friends and other familiar faces return for the 30th season of the long-running and acclaimed Star Trek MMORPG, including Garret Wang as Captain Harry Kim and Star Trek Science Consultant Dr. Erin Macdonald as Commander Erin Macdonald.
We told you about Star Trek Online’s newest season, entitled “Incursion,” and now it is available on PC, sert to launch on PlayStation and Xbox consoles on November 1. In the MMORPG’s 30th season, Starbase One is under attack from a new type of Borg threat. During this attempt to repel the Borg forces, Starfleet receives the help of a mysterious and powerful new ally. In a new featured episode, “Taken by Surprise”, participate in two exciting new Task Force Operations (TFOs) and a new in-game event, “Borg Tesseract”, experience a new ship upgrade expansion feature, and more.
Star Trek Online: Incursion continues last season’s Multiverse story following a misunderstanding with the Tholians and the tearing of the Reality Vortex. A new vortex has appeared at Starbase One and Borg are surging through it.
Included in the new season is a Star Trek: Prodigy lockbox, which will grant players an all-new Protostar-Class Starship, gear and weapons from the show, and five different colored Mellanoid slime worm pets – you know, the adorable Murf!
