MARCH 23, 2022 - The long wait is nearly over. According to a report from TrekCore.com, Star Trek: Prodigy will begin rolling out internationally this April. The series is expected to begin airing in multiple countries next month, starting April 18th.

The report details a number of announcements signaling the launch of the series in countries across the globe. In Europe, that will include France, Spain, Portugal, and the UK. Prodigy will also air in Central and Eastern European countries, as well as Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Nigeria, and South Africa.

Over the weekend, Nickelodeon UK held an “orange carpet” premiere and BAFTA panel for Prodigy. Series creators Kevin and Dan Hageman, Executive Producer and Director Ben Hibon, and series stars Kate Mulgrew, Ella Purnell, and Angus Imrie were all on hand for the festivities. The “Brothers Hageman” posted to their Twitter account following the event, saying, “It was a pleasure to be hosted by@BAFTA. We look forward to seeing #StarTrekProdigy drop soon in the UK.”

Nickelodeon has begun to launch websites for the series, including character descriptions and promotional clips, ahead of the April launch. As always, we’ll be sure to keep you up to date when further details of the international release are confirmed.
