SEPTEMBER 16, 2022 - Star Trek: Prodigy returns with the second half of season one next month. The first half of season one showed us the ragtag new group of the USS Protostar assembling together and learning what it means to be a crew. The wise and often snide holographic Janeway helped them to also understand what it means to be Starfleet.

As the crew finally found their bearings and became a cohesive group, we were left with a twist ending: the Protostar had a bomb planted in it, set to destruct when it enters Federation space, which of course, it had set a course for. Star Trek: Voyager fans were already delighted to have Kate Mulgrew reprise the role of Janeway, but we were treated to another favorite character as Robert Beltran reprised his role as Chakotay.

As we enter the second half of season one, Prodigy producers Kevin and Dan Hageman speak about bringing back Janeway and Chakotay, as well as leading into a scarier season two. The second half of season one premieres on October 27, streaming on Paramount+.

And the grey haired gentleman in the clip? Well, let’s just say that having his previously seen Star Trek: The Next Generation character making an appearance on Prodigy, will be OUTRAGEOUS!

Thaddeus Tuffentsamer is an internationally selling author. His books have been sold in the US, the UK, Sweden, Germany, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Italy, and France. He has a series of young reader novels, a satirical self-help book, (which, according to reviews, actually has some pretty solid counsel), and has joined the list of professional Sherlock Holmes authors.

He promises that his works will never contain profanity, gratuitous violence, or anything else that would prevent the entire family from enjoying them together.

He spends his days working in healthcare administration and in his evenings, in between plans for becoming “Lord Emperor of everything,” he types away at his keyboard letting his imagination out for the world to read.

He is fortunate to have a wonderful wife and two beautiful daughters. He currently lives in Goodyear Arizona with his wife.
