MARCH 14, 2022 - As has been clear for some time, Paramount has been pulling back Star Trek series from outside streaming services as part of its plan to bring the franchise back in house and to continue to expand globally. Last fall, we let you know about the departure of Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: Voyager, and Star Trek: Enterprise from Netflix, as well as the last minute dropping of season four of Star Trek: Discovery from Netflix outside the United States.

Now, if you have been watching Star Trek: The Next Generation on Netflix in the US, TrekMovie reported last week that you have until April 2 before that is no longer an option. TNG will depart Netflix at that point, leaving only Star Trek: Deep Space Nine representing the franchise on the streaming service “after all five live-action shows had been available on Netflix for a decade.” (TNG is also live streamed on the free, ad-supported PlutoTV, a division of Paramount Streaming.)

For more on the departure of Star Trek: The Next Generation from Netflix and the related Star Trek streaming environment, head over to TrekMovie.

Of course, TNG and all the rest of the Star Trek universe can be found on Paramount+.
