APRIL 28, 2023 – With season two of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds on the horizon, it might have occurred to you to go back and (re)watch season one to get ready. Alternatively, you can now just listen to the music that enhanced the amazing stories and visuals.

TrekCore is reporting that Lakeshore Records is releasing today the complete episodic score for season one. The music includes the main title and end credits themes by Jeff Russo and all the music in between by Nami Melumad.

Both Melumad and Russo felt the gravitas of their work. Melumad said, “Creating the ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ score has been one of the biggest honors of my life.” Russo shared a similar sentiment, saying, “Being asked to write the theme for the show that was going to directly precede the original series was such an honor. Tying into the sound of the iconic theme while creating something unique for our new adventure was such a fantastic artistic experience.”

Lakeshore Records is the soundtrack arm of the Cutting Edge Group and has released music from multiple films and television series, including from the new era of Star Trek.

The soundtrack is available to stream from multiple platforms. For more on the new release, including a preview, head over to TrekCore.
