AUGUST 8, 2023 - Though Star Trek: Prodigy is still looking for a new streaming home, the creators decided to release a bit of a sneak peek into season 2 during the Star Trek Las Vegas Convention. You can watch the Clip on Star Trek.com.

In the clip we learn a bit about where each crew member of the Protostar has ended up, we also see our next Voyager crew member: The Doctor, voiced by Robert Picardo.

Janeway’s new starship: a 29-deck Lamarr-class USS Voyager-A, makes an appearance. This Voyager will study the wormhole leading to the far future that opened at the end of last season.

At the convention, the Prodigy creators discussed the hot topic of where the show will be in the future. The new season has 20 episodes total and about 7 left to work on in post-production. The show is expected to be finished around Christmas 2023. Hopefully, in its finished form, streaming platforms will consider picking up the show.
