EXO-6's latest stunning figure is the Enterprise-E Captain's Chair from Star Trek: First Contact
Star Trek: First Contact Enterprise-E Captain’s Chair prop replica from EXO-6
MARCH 13, 2022 - If you have an action figure of, say, Captain Jean-Luc Picard, but the captain doesn’t have a proper place to sit, EXO-6 might be able to help with that.
According to TrekCore, EXO-6 will be releasing a 1/6 scale replica of the captain’s chair from the USS Enterprise-E, as seen in Star Trek: First Contact. The chair is designed to seat EXO-6’s Jean-Luc Picard figure from the same era.
The official description of the chair notes that the “back and seat are molded in foam to replicate the look and feel of an upholstered chair. The armrests have simulated control panels that light-up with a layout taken from Michael Okuda’s original art from First Contact, based on Tom Mahoney’s LCARS button designs. The base also lights up as it did in the film.”
Sounds and phrases from the film are also featured, and the whole thing is powered with an included USB-C cable.
The chair is expected to be available in August and you can preorder it now from Entertainment Earth. A high resolution backdrop of the Enterprise-E’s bridge is also expected from EXO-6 later in the year.
