MAY 3, 2022 - Season two of Star Trek: Picard comes to a close this week with the finale episode “Farewell”, premiering this Thursday. Paramount+ shared some new stills from the episode along with a trailer, so get ready for another wild ride as the penultimate season of Star Trek: Picard draws to a close.

Here’s a look at what to expect: “In the season two finale, with just hours until the Europa Launch, Picard and the crew find themselves in a race against time to save the future.”

After a look through the photos (and with a confirmed third season in production), one might suspect the future doesn’t come to a complete stop after the episode, but who’s to say what kind of future it will be? Heightening the suspense, Paramount+ shared a trailer for “Farewell” to social media, saying, “One last surprise...one last chance to save the future next on the season finale of #StarTrekPicard!” Check out the trailer for yourself below.

Outside of the regular cast of season two, this week’s episode features Penelope Mitchell (Renée Picard), John de Lancie (Q), Orla Brady (Tallin), and Brent Spiner (Adam Soong). The Star Trek: Picard season two finale was written by Akiva Goldsman and Christopher Monfette, and directed by Michael Weaver. “Farewell” begins streaming Thursday, May 5th on Paramount+.
