SEPTEMBER 2, 2022 - The music of Star Trek has always been an integral part of the storytelling, and that tradition continues with the ongoing series in production. You can now sit back, close your eyes, and bask in the sounds that accompanied what you might or might not yet have seen on screen in season four of Star Trek: Discovery.

TrekCore shared the news late last week that composer Jeff Russo’s original series soundtrack from DISCO’s latest season would be dropping, which it did earlier this week. Accessible via a variety of music streaming services, the digital release includes 32 tracks featuring music from all 13 episodes of the season.

Russo said of his compositions, “This season of Star Trek: Discovery presented an extraordinary opportunity to explore a thematic connection between the known and the unknown. Pushing the musical envelope of the Star Trek universe was this season’s idea.”

The services on which the soundtrack is available include Amazon Music.

TrekCore has more on the Disco season four soundtrack, including a track list and a preview.
