Calgary Expo: Thursday, April 21 – Sunday, April 24

William Shatner (Thu and Fri), John de Lancie (Thu and Friday), and Brent Spiner (Fri, Sat, Sun) will be appearing at Calgary Expo. The event is taking place Thursday through Sunday at Stampede Park, in Calgary, Alberta. Head over to FanExpoHQ for all the details.

Planet Comicon: Friday, April 22 – Sunday, April 24

John de Lancie (Sat and Sun) and Gates McFadden, along with Star Trek authors Dayton Ward and Kevin Dilmore will be appearing this weekend at Planet Comicon. The con is happening at the Kansas City Convention Center, in Kansas City, Missouri. Check out Planet Comicon for everything you need to know.

Yellow City Comic Convention: Friday, April 22 – Sunday, April 24

Doug Jones and Denise Crosby will be appearing Friday through Sunday at Yellow City Comic Convention, in Amarillo, Texas. The convention is taking place at the Amarillo Civic Center, and all the skinny is at YellowCityCon.

The Visionary Universe of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: Wednesday, April 27 – Sunday, May 29

Beginning next Wednesday, April 27 and running through Sunday, May 29, The Paley Center for Media in New York opens an exhibit celebrating the upcoming Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and the broader Star Trekuniverse. The exhibition will be complemented by special screenings, opportunities to view the uniforms and artifacts from several series, weekly kids and family programs featuring the animated hit Star Trek: Prodigy, and much more. The Regular Stuff

  • These are the Twitter watchalongs:

    • #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.

    • #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

    • #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

  • Then there’s Star Trek: Watch Party, hosted daily and coordinated on Facebook. Every evening, they use the Teleparty browser extension to watch Star Trek together. To find out more, head over to Star Trek: Watch Party on Facebook.

  • Speaking of a Star Trek watch party: the iBlind Users Group hosts Trekkie Talk on the first and third Thursdays of every month. They watch an audio descriptive version of a Star Trek episode and get together virtually to discuss it. To find out how to join in, visit ibugtoday.com/trekkie-talk.

  • But wait, there’s more watch partying: Club IDIC hosts a weekly watch party and discussion at 6pm Alberta Time every Friday. The schedule and Zoom links are available at the Club IDIC Facebook page.

  • To Proudly Go, a New York-based nonprofit, will be hosting Star Trek: Picard season 2 viewing parties each Saturday. The gatherings begin at 6:00pm ET at the Barracuda Lounge in New York City. Tickets are free, and vaccination is required. The viewing parties also include Star Trek trivia games, special Star Trek-themed drag performances, two-for-one drinks, fabulous Star Trek prizes, and merchandise.   • Virtual Trek Con presents The Main Viewer every Tuesday - a live discussion show on YT with occasional special guests and an open chat geared towards fan interaction.

  • Disco Does DnD - livestream DnD game with DSC actors on Twitch, every Sunday at 1pmPT/4pmET. 

  • And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice-monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows.
