Bespoke Plays: Lady Face: Thursday, February 17

Isa Briones, Blu del Barrio, and Mary Chieffo will be stage reading Madi Goff’s Lady Face TONIGHT at 7pm PT at The Pico, in Los Angeles. Star Trek science consultant, Dr. Erin Macdonald, will be the stage manager. Pensacon: Friday, February 18 – Sunday, February 20

Bobby Clark, George Takei (Saturday and Sunday only), and David Gerrold will be attending Pensacon this weekend at the Pensacola Bay Center, in Pensacola, Florida. More information is available at Pensacon.com.

The Best of Trek, Volume II: Screenings and Discussions: Saturday, February 19 and Sunday, February 20

Join Scott Mantz and special guests for screenings and deep dives into several Star Trek episodes from across the franchise. The event takes place Saturday and Sunday at the Skirball Cultural Center, in Los Angeles. Guests include Mark A. Altman, Daren Dochterman, BarBara Luna, Elizabeth Dennehy, Terry Farrell, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Michelle Hurd. The Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds exhibit will also be open late for ticket holders on its closing day on Sunday. Fan Expo Vancouver: Saturday, February 19 – Monday, February 21

William Shatner will be appearing Saturday and Sunday at Fan Expo Vancouver, which will take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre, in Vancouver, British Columbia. Head over to FanExpoHQ to find out all about it.

Writing for Star Trek: Lisa Klink: Sunday, February 20

Lisa Klink, writer of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine season four episode, “Hippocratic Oath,” will be joining Let’s Watch Trek: Look Forward for a watch party and virtual discussion on Sunday. The Regular Stuff

  • These are the Twitter watchalongs:

    • #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.

    • #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

    • #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

  • Then there’s Star Trek: Watch Party, hosted daily and coordinated on Facebook. Every evening, they use the Teleparty browser extension to watch Star Trek together. To find out more, head over to Star Trek: Watch Party on Facebook.

  • Speaking of a Star Trek watch party: the iBlind Users Group hosts Trekkie Talk on the first and third Thursdays of every month. They watch an audio descriptive version of a Star Trek episode and get together virtually to discuss it. To find out how to join in, visit ibugtoday.com/trekkie-talk.

  • But wait, there’s more watch partying: Club IDIC hosts a weekly watch party and discussion at 6pm Alberta Time every Friday. The schedule and Zoom links are available at the Club IDIC Facebook page.

  • To Proudly Go, a New York-based nonprofit, will be hosting Star Trek: Discovery season 4 viewing parties each Saturday (or the docuseries Center Seat while Discovery is on hiatus, January 15 – February 5, 2022). The gatherings begin at 6:00pm ET at the Barracuda Lounge in New York City. Tickets are free, and vaccination is required. The viewing parties also include Star Trek trivia games, special Star Trek-themed drag performances, two-for-one drinks, fabulous Star Trek prizes, and merchandise.   • Virtual Trek Con presents The Main Viewer every Tuesday - a live discussion show on YT with occasional special guests and an open chat geared towards fan interaction.

  • Disco Does DnD - livestream DnD game with DSC actors on Twitch, every Sunday at 1pmPT/4pmET

  • And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice-monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows.
