San Diego Comic-Con, Thursday, July 21 – Sunday, July 24

Lea Thompson will be hosting the Star Trek Universe panel this Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con. Cast members and producers from Star Trek: Picard, Lower Decks, and Strange New Worlds will be on hand to discuss previous and upcoming seasons. William Shatner Handprint Ceremony: Thursday, July 21

Alongside San Diego Comic-Con, Legion M will be sponsoring a handprint ceremony for William Shatner in the lobby of Theatre Box San Diego. The celebration will take place at 10:00 a.m. PT on Thursday. Tickets for this separate event are available at Legion M, and SDCC badges are not required.

Brent Spiner and William Shatner/Alan Ruck Private Signings: Friday, July 22

Friday is the deadline to order signatures from Brent Spiner and William Shatner with or without Alan Ruck via Galaxy Con. Personalized signatures are available on photos, mini posters, and Shatner Funko Pops. Orders are due by 11:59 p.m. ET. Check out GalaxyCon for the details for Spiner and Shatner/Ruck.

GalaxyCon Virtual Meet & Greets and Private Signings: Friday, July 22

Video chats and autographs are available for Terry Farrell, Andrew Robinson, Alan Ruck, and Fred Tatasciore. The deadline for orders is 11:59 p.m. Friday, and the schedule for the chats varies by individual. Visit the GalaxyCon pages, linked above, for the details.

Days of the Dead Indianapolis: Friday, July 22 – Sunday, July 24

Denise Crosby and Lori Petty will be attending Days of the Dead this weekend, taking place at the Indianapolis (Indiana) Marriott East. Get all the details at Days of the Dead.

Star Trek: Prodigy Experience: Friday, July 22 – Wednesday, August 31

Beginning this Friday and running through the end of next month is the CAMP Star Trek: Prodigy Experience, in Brooklyn, New York. “Play your way through a family adventure packed with interactive games, physical challenges, and brave new worlds.” For all the information and to order tickets head over to CAMP.

The Roddenberries: Saturday, July 23

The “Galaxy’s own Sci-Fi Star Trekkified Party Band” will be presenting their Sci-Fi Rock Cabaret this Saturday at the Landis Theater, in Vineland, New Jersey. The show gets underway at 8:00 p.m. ET. Head over to their Facebook page for details and a link to order tickets.

The Regular Stuff

·These are the Twitter watchalongs:

o   #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.

o   #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

o   #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

·Then there’s Star Trek: Watch Party, hosted daily and coordinated on Facebook. Every evening, they use the Teleparty browser extension to watch Star Trek together. To find out more, head over to Star Trek: Watch Party on Facebook.

·Speaking of a Star Trek watch party: the iBlind Users Group hosts Trekkie Talk on the first and third Thursdays of every month. They watch an audio descriptive version of a Star Trek episode and get together virtually to discuss it. To find out how to join in, visit ibugtoday.com/trekkie-talk.

·But wait, there’s more watch partying: Club IDIC hosts a weekly watch party and discussion at 6pm Alberta Time every Friday. The schedule and Zoom links are available at the Club IDIC Facebook page.

·To Proudly Go, a New York-based nonprofit, will be hosting The Orville season three viewing parties each Saturday. The gatherings begin at 6:00pm ET at the Barracuda Lounge in New York City. Tickets are free, and vaccination is required. The viewing parties also include Star Trek trivia games, special Star Trek-themed drag performances, two-for-one drinks, fabulous Star Trek prizes, and merchandise. ·Virtual Trek Con presents The Main Viewer every Tuesday - a live discussion show on YT with occasional special guests and an open chat geared towards fan interaction.

·Disco Does DnD - livestream DnD game with DSC actors on Twitch, every Sunday at 1pmPT/4pmET.

· Join Grey Havens Philosophy and Outworld Brewing every first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. as they discuss the big ideas inspired by Star Trek. The gatherings are at Outworld Brewing, in Longmont, Colorado. Attendance is free, but an RSVP for planning purposes is appreciated at Eventbrite.

·And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows.
