Star Trek Eire with Elizabeth Dennehy: Thursday, July 28

If you happen to be in Ireland tonight, Star Trek Eire will be hosting a screening of the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode, “The Best of Both Worlds” along with guest star Elizabeth Dennehy, who will talk about her time working on the show. GalaxyCon Raleigh: Thursday, July 28 – Sunday, July 31

William Shatner (Sunday only), Brent Spiner (Sunday only), Terry Farrell, Andrew Robinson, and Fred Tatasciore will be appearing at GalaxyCon this weekend at the Raleigh (North Carolina) Convention Center. (Alan Ruck has cancelled.) All the details are at GalaxyCon.

Intrepid Museum Summer Movie Night: Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan – Friday, July 29

Watch Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan on the deck of the USS Intrepid this Friday in New York City. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. ET. Attendance is free, and all the skinny is at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum Complex.

Tim Russ Crew: Friday, July 29

Tim Russ will be performing with his band tomorrow night at the Kibitz Room in West Hollywood, according to Russ’s tweet. The show is at 10:30 p.m. PT, with no cover and free parking.

Urban Nerd Con: Friday, July 29 – Sunday, July 31

Cirroc Lofton, Anthony Montgomery, and Tony Amendola will be appearing at the first Urban Nerd Con this weekend, in Montgomery, Alabama. The event takes place at the Multiplex @The Crampton Bowl. Visit Urban Nerd Con for all the details, including an opportunity to donate a badge for a young nerd.

Tampa Bay Comic Convention: Friday, July 29 – Sunday, July 31

William Shatner and Gates McFadden will each be appearing Friday and Saturday at the Tampa Bay Comic Convention. The con is happening at the Tampa Bay (Florida) Convention Center. More information is at Tampa Bay Comic Convention.

Comic Con Manchester: Friday, July 29 – Sunday, July 31

Trek Picnic in Central Park: Sunday, July 31

Join fellow Star Trek fans for a picnic in Central Park, New York City, on Sunday at noon. The picnic is hosted by the fan group USS Growler, and the details are on their Facebook page.

Watch Trek – Look Forward: Sunday, July 31

The latest watch party will be Star Trek: Voyager’s season five episode, “Counterpoint.” This Science Sunday will also feature Star Trek science consultant, Dr. Erin Macdonald. Registration for the free virtual 10:00 a.m. PT gathering is available at Watch Trek – Look Forward.

Bryant Park Movie Night: Star Trek: First Contact: Monday, August 1

This week’s movie at the outdoor movie series in Bryant Park, New York City, will be Star Trek: First Contact. The lawn opens at 5:00 p.m. ET and the movie starts at 8:00. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Check out Bryant Park for more information.

GalaxyCon Private Signing: Jason Alexander: Monday, August 1

Orders are due Monday for signatures from Jason Alexander via GalaxyCon. Autographs are available on photos, mini posters, Funko Pops, and Major League baseballs. The deadline for orders is 11:59 p.m. ET, at GalaxyCon.

o   #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.

o   #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

o   #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

·To Proudly Go, a New York-based nonprofit, will be hosting The Orville season three viewing parties each Saturday. The gatherings begin at 6:00pm ET at the Barracuda Lounge in New York City. Tickets are free, and vaccination is required. The viewing parties also include Star Trek trivia games, special Star Trek-themed drag performances, two-for-one drinks, fabulous Star Trek prizes, and merchandise. ·Virtual Trek Con presents The Main Viewer every Tuesday - a live discussion show on YT with occasional special guests and an open chat geared towards fan interaction.

·Disco Does DnD - livestream DnD game with DSC actors on Twitch, every Sunday at 1pmPT/4pmET.

· Join Grey Havens Philosophy and Outworld Brewing every first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. as they discuss the big ideas inspired by Star Trek. The gatherings are at Outworld Brewing, in Longmont, Colorado. Attendance is free, but an RSVP for planning purposes is appreciated at Eventbrite.

·And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows.
