LeVar Burton on Jeopardy! - Monday, July 26th - Friday, July 30th

First up, happening NOW (depending on when you’re getting this!), LeVar Burton is guest-hosting Jeopardy! He’s got two more days, Thursday and Friday the 29th and 30th, and you should tune in and give him your support!

Sid City Social Club virtual Craft Fair & Artist’s Alley - Friday, July 30th

If any of you are convention-goers, you’ll know one of the best parts of a convention is the vendor’s hall. Sid City Social Club, the official fan website of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s Alexander Siddig, is hosting a virtual sort of vendor’s hall this Friday from 3 - 7pm ET over Zoom, where vendors and shoppers can get together to support each other.

GalaxyCon Live: William Shatner - Friday, July 30th - Saturday, July 31st

Next up, William Shatner is appearing at GalaxyCon in Raleigh, North Carolina this weekend. If you can’t make the convention, don’t worry, because they’re also livestreaming his Q&A panel, Saturday, July 31st at 2pm ET. And even though this is a mixed event, in-person and online, you can purchase video chats and autographs too.

The regular stuff

  • These are the Twitter watchalongs:

    • #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.

    • #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

    • #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

  • Then there’s Star Trek: Watch Party, hosted daily and coordinated on Facebook. Every evening, they use the Teleparty browser extension to watch Star Trek together. To find out more, head over to Star Trek: Watch Party on Facebook.

  • And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice-monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows.
