GalaxyCon Private Signings: William Shatner, George Takei, and Walter Koenig – Thursday, September 16th

First up, today (September 16th) is the deadline to order autographs from William Shatner, George Takei, Walter Koenig, and Zachary Quinto via GalaxyCon. You will have a choice among photos and posters for them to sign. The deadline is 11:59pm ET. For more information visit GalaxyCon.com.

FANX Comic Convention – Thursday, September 16th – Saturday, September 18th

Zachary Quinto will also be appearing at the FANX Comic Convention in Salt Lake City. The convention runs today through Saturday, but Quinto will be there Friday only. For more information visit FanXSaltLake.com.

Monroe Pop Fest – Friday, September 17th – Sunday, September 19th

Doug Jones will be appearing on Saturday only at the Monroe Pop Festival, which runs from September 17-19 at the FMB Expo Center in Monroe, Michigan. For more information see MonroeComic-Con.com.

Fan Expo Dallas - Friday, September 17th – Sunday, September 19th

Fan Expo Dallas will be taking place Friday through Sunday at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas. Guests include Zachary Quinto, appearing Saturday; William Shatner, appearing Friday and Saturday; George Takei, appearing Saturday and Sunday; and Walter Koenig, appearing all three days. Ancient City Con - Friday, September 17th – Sunday, September 19th

And finally, Ancient City Con will be taking place Friday through Sunday at the World Golf Village Renaissance Resort in St. Augustine, Florida. Garret Wang will be appearing there all weekend.

The Regular Stuff

  • These are the Twitter watchalongs:

    • #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.

    • #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

    • #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

  • Then there’s Star Trek: Watch Party, hosted daily and coordinated on Facebook. Every evening, they use the Teleparty browser extension to watch Star Trek together. To find out more, head over to Star Trek: Watch Party on Facebook.

  • To Proudly Go is hosting a recurring in-person Star Trek: Lower Decks viewing party on Saturdays at 6pm ET in New York City.

  • And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice-monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows.
