GalaxyCon Private Signings: Walter Koenig and Ron Perlman – Thursday, September 2

First up, today (September 2nd) is the deadline to order autographs from Walter Koenig and Ron Perlman via GalaxyCon. You will have a choice among photos and posters for either to sign. The deadline is 11:59pm ET. For more information visit GalaxyCon.com.

GalaxyCon Live: The Next Generation and Klingon Virtual Experiences – Sunday, September 5

Also from GalaxyCon, on Sunday, September 5th at 12pm ET cast members from Star Trek: The Next Generation will be gathering for a free virtual Q&A. Scheduled to appear are Denise Crosby, Jonathan Frakes, and John de Lancie. Brent Spiner will be available for autographs only. 

Following at 4pm ET will be a GalaxyCon Live panel of portrayers of Klingons, including Vaughn Armstrong, JG Hertzler, Robert O’Reilly, and Gwynyth Walsh. Suzie Plakson will be available for autographs only.

Dragon Con – Thursday, September 2 to Monday, September 6

And the big one this weekend, Dragon Con, will be back in person (with selected virtual components) from September 2nd through 6th in Atlanta, Georgia. Star Trek guests include Noah Averbach-Katz, Dr. Erin Macdonald, Sonequa Martin-Green, Dr. Mohamed Noor, Anthony Rapp, Rekha Sharma, William Shatner, Fred Tatasciore, Garrett Wang, and Mary Wiseman. Franchise tie-in authors Peter David and Keith R. A. DeCandido will also be there. Virtual panels streaming, it appears, via DragonConTV include two Star Trek: Discovery panels (9/4 at 4pm ET and 9/5 at 1pm ET), Scientists and Star Trek (9/4 at 12pm ET), and the William Shatner Q&A (9/4 at 11:30am ET). The Regular Stuff

  • These are the Twitter watchalongs:

    • #allstartrek runs Sunday through Friday at 8/7C and follows the Heroes and Icons Channel’s All Star Trek programme.

    • #TOSSatNight starts at 9pm PT on Saturday night and follows a different episode of The Original Series every week, and

    • #StarTrekHour is a Q&A-format event, every Tuesday at 1pm PT.

  • Then there’s Star Trek: Watch Party, hosted daily and coordinated on Facebook. Every evening, they use the Teleparty browser extension to watch Star Trek together. To find out more, head over to Star Trek: Watch Party on Facebook.

  • NEW: To Proudly Go is hosting a recurring in-person Star Trek: Lower Decks viewing party on Saturdays at 6pm ET in New York City.

  • And finally, there’s Sid City Social Club, hosted by Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Alexander Siddig’s official fan website. They meet twice-monthly on the first Tuesday and third Friday of every month, with occasional pop-up meetings with Sid as his schedule allows.
