Star Trek Nanoforce Army Builder sets from Fourth Castle and FanWraps

JULY 18, 2021 - Most of you probably remember the small, green, plastic army men from when you were a child. You know the ones I’m talking about. Maybe you played with them growing up, or maybe your kids did. Maybe you remember them as the only toy worse than LEGO for stepping on in the middle of the night. Now a new line of figurines is bringing back that army men nostalgia, and adding a Star Trek twist: two Star Trek Nanoforce Army Builder Mini-Figure Boxed Sets are due out later this year.

One of the new sets features pieces from Star Trek: The Next Generation, and the other from The Original Series. Each set comes with 12 figurines featuring notable characters and species from the respective series. The TNG set includes the entire bridge crew, along with Q, and Borg, Cardassian, Romulan, and Klingon characters. The TOS set likewise features the bridge crew, as well as a Gorn, Andorian, an “era-appropriate” Romulan and Klingon, a Talosian, and the M-113 Creature, aka a “Salt Vampire”. With such a variety of characters available, you can stage your own away missions, reenact your favorite scenes, or get your hands on both sets and cross the timelines a little bit. It’s up to you!

Each figure stands 2” tall and, falling in line with Starfleet custom, is either red, yellow, or blue. Each set comes with a 4” model of either the U.S.S. Enterprise or the U.S.S. Enterprise-D, depending on which set you choose. And each set also comes complete with an 11”x17” foldout map for display.

Both Star Trek Nanoforce Army Builder sets are available for preorder now, and expected to ship in October of this year. To preorder your set, visit EntertainmentEarth.com, or look for it wherever you get your toys and collectibles.
