MARCH 30, 2022 - Star Trek: Mission Chicago is starting in just over a week, beginning April 8th. In the interest of maintaining the wellbeing of all attendees, personnel, and guests, event organizers have released a series of health and safety guidelines for the event.

First, and foremost, all guests aged five and up must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a “vaccine approved or authorized for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or World Health Organization (WHO)”, or provide “proof of a negative antigen or PCR COVID-19 test administered by a medical provider for admission.” Attendees presenting a negative COVID-19 result must have had the test performed no more than one day prior to the event. Any exhibitors, media, press, talent, vendors, and panelists must present proof of full vaccination in order to enter the event. Be sure to check the event website for a list of accepted COVID-19 vaccines.

Each day, guests must review the Health and Safety Acknowledgement, and confirm they are not currently experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. Anyone who develops symptoms during the course of the convention is encouraged to seek medical attention, and may be asked to leave by event staff.

A mask or appropriate face covering is strongly recommended for all in attendance. Even those with proof of full vaccination. For those who are unvaccinated, mask use is required at all times. At the discretion of event guests, some autograph tables and panels may require a mask, regardless of your vaccination status.

All attendees are expected to maintain proper hygiene, adhere to signage and direction from event staff, and to respect the personal boundaries of those around them. If everyone does their part, the convention is sure to be a safe and exciting event!
