Star Trek: Picard season 1 Blu-ray to be released October 6th, 2020

If you’ve been holding your breath waiting for the release of Star Trek: Picard on Blu-ray and DVD, well, now you can let out a sigh of relief, because the day is almost here. StarTrek.com announced last week that the Sir Patrick Stewart-led series will be hitting home video on October 6th.

The first series of Star Trek: Picard will be available on DVD, standard Blu-ray, or Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-ray. Each edition will include all 10 episodes of Picard, plus the prequel Star Trek: Short Treks episode “Children of Mars”.

In addition to the main show and Short Treks episode, the Blu-ray and DVD editions will also come with a number of special features, including behind-the-scenes featurettes, interviews and commentaries. There are even exclusive deleted scenes and a gag reel.
