JUNE 30, 2O22 - With Star Trek: Strange New Worlds currently filming its second season, Melissa Navia spoke to CinemaBlend in a recent interview, giving fans a hint of what to expect in the second season of the wildly popular series - a season she is particularly excited to share with fans once it premieres.

For Navia, being able to see the fans react and respond to the series’ first season has influenced the cast performance in the upcoming second season. Navia told fans, “Because of the fact we’re filming Season 2, but we’re getting to watch the world experience Season 1 (while concurrently filming season two). And so, we’re seeing all that love and that’s infoming what we’re doing.”

According to Navia, the writing staff at Strange New Worlds is “knocking it out of the park.” The second season is sure to be a hit. According to Navia, “It incorporates Trek, and it incorporates history, it incorporates actual science and technology.” She went on to suggest  that fans will “really fall in love with this world and be a part of it.” She added, “Season 2 we’re gonna go to places that you just didn’t expect, couldn’t expect, but you’re gonna be really happy that we did. [...] We have some of the biggest scenes we’ve filmed yet, especially for me, to come still. So, very exciting.”
