Modiphius Entertainment, the London-based producer of the tabletop role playing game, Star Trek Adventures, have announced the upcoming release of the Klingon Core Rulebook, now available for pre-order. This new rulebook is the latest addition to their already expansive collection of Star Trek RPGs. According to a report from ComicBook.com, the pre-order release was scheduled to coordinate with the upcoming “Day of Honor” streaming event coming up this Saturday, July 11th.

Star Trek Adventures was first released by Modiphius in 2017. Since then, Modiphius has been hard at work on expanding the game, and with a quick trip to the Modiphius website, you can see their dozens of additional rulebooks and supplemental missions, all of which are based in the Star Trek universe.

The new Klingon Core Rulebook will allow players to build their own stories with a Klingon focus. This includes an updated version of the gaming system and an in-depth look at the culture, history and society of the Klingon Empire. A report from Forbes.com noted that players will now be able to build their own Klingon house, adding to the rules a “Shame mechanic to really let failures of honor hit home.”

The new Klingon Core Rulebook will be available in print with standard and collector’s editions, as well as in PDF format. All pre-orders for print editions will also come with an early PDF copy of the rules, which will be updated and redistributed when the book goes to print this fall. You can reserve your copy of the Star Trek Adventures: Klingon Core Rulebook now at Modiphius.net.
