JANUARY 31, 2022 - Star Trek: Prodigy is closing in on the halfway point of the season this week with “A Moral Star, Part 2”, and we’ve got a handful of new images for the upcoming episode. Picking up where part one left off, improvisation is the name of the game for the crew of the Protostar in the mid-season finale. Meanwhile, Gwyn discovers a dark truth that will forever jeopardize their quest toward salvation. Tensions are high, but don’t they look awesome in their Starfleet uniforms?

The mid-season finale was written by the entire first season Prodigy writer’s room, including Kevin & Dan Hageman, Julie Benson, Shawna Benson, Lisa Schultz Boyd, Nikhil S. Jayaram, Diandra Pendleton-Thompson, Chad Quandt, and Aaron J. Waltke. Directed by Ben Hibon, “A Moral Star, Part 2” will feature our established series villains. The Diviner (voiced by John Noble) and the merciless Drednok (voiced by Jimmi Simpson) will be on hand for the second half of the mid-season finale.

“A Moral Star, Part 2” airs on Paramount+ Thursday, February 3rd. After that, new episodes of Star Trek: Prodigy have to wait, as the fourth season of Star Trek: Discovery returns with new episodes beginning February 10th.
